Boarding Schools for Troubled Teens in New Mexico

For parents of troubled teens seeking boarding schools in New Mexico, you need to know what options are available to you. New Mexico has six troubled teens boarding schools total, and of which one is a traditional style Military academy school, and the other five boarding schools are all operating as those helping with struggling or troubled teens. There is one all boys school and all of the remaining programs are Co-ed schools. Of special note is that there are no all girls boarding schools or any that offer strong college preparatory classes as part of their curriculums.

If you are seeking other troubled teen programs such as an all girls program of if any of those listed below is not what you had in mind there are still a great variety of struggling teen boarding schools from which to choose from so long as you are willing to look beyond the borders of the state.

Although the struggling teen schools all share well deserved reputations they may still not be for you or your teen, as it is important to match the correct school to those behavior or emotional patterns that your troubled teen is exhibiting. It is common to find programs in other states that have the staff and therapeutic components that have the best benefit and curriculums for an individual troubled teen. To make sure you have in fact found that perfect match it is always wise to get a second opinion from a professional such as Wendy Riddle M.Ed., P.P.S. who is an educational consultant and teen behavioral specialist, please call for that second opinion @ 866-439-8112
