Christian Programs for Troubled Teens

Christian programs are designed to bring about spiritual and emotional growth in troubled teens. These programs are usually presented in the form of camps, seminars, or conferences. They teach the principles of Christ and faith found in the Holy Bible.

The focus of most camps or conferences is on character development as defined by Biblical standard. The programs help students to develop a positive attitude toward life, by learning about themselves, about the love of Christ, and taking care of their individual needs in healthy proactive ways.

Many believe that troubled teens need spiritual growth more than anything else. The theory is that spiritual growth brings about emotional growth, or better said, a changed heart. The hope is that by experiencing a spiritual revelation, getting to know one’s self and purpose in life, will help a troubled teen to align themselves with integrity, honor, trustworthiness, faith, compassion, and love for all mankind.
