Transitional Programs for Troubled Teens

Transitional Programs for troubled teens are better known as community mental health clinics and program that aim to provide adjunct therapy to its clients with the help of a therapist and a physician. Transitional programs serve troubled teens with serious psychological and emotional problems, substance abuse, chemical dependency, and/or past criminal behavior. Transitional programs provide students with an active participation in groups that focus on resocialization and living skills. It also focuses on providing relaxation, self-care, and self-confidence in troubled teens who are socially and emotionally immature.

The problem with transitional programs is this… to a psychiatrist or a therapist everyone has a mental disorder, a deficit, and a mental illness. Everyone is mentally ill. The truth is that most people make mistakes, make poor choices, and sometimes we become dysfunctional people due to a series of poor choices and bad lifestyle mistakes. The truth is, most people who are depressed are totally normal. Most people are depressed because they have made many poor choices over a period of time, and they are depressed because they are normal. Anyone who makes poor choices over and over again should be depressed.
