Substance Abuse Programs for Troubled Teens in Los Angeles, California
Substance abuse centers in Los Angeles are bountiful, and have a wide variety of services. Considering the population of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area is 17,775,984, there are many substance abuse centers. Each center is equipped with licensed counselors to help with any and every substance abuse problem you or a family member may have. Many of these substance abuse centers offer different programs such as; inpatient, outpatient, residential long-term treatment, residential short-term, 30 day programs, women only programs, male only programs, and partial hospitalization/day treatments. Union Rescue Mission Christian Life Discipleship Program is one of the top centers in Los Angeles for substance abuse. It offers programs such as residential short-term treatment (30 days or less), residential long-term treatment (more than 30 days), and special programs that offer residential beds for their clients struggling teens and their children. Salvation Army Safe Harbor offers a program for troubled teens with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, with special programs for troubled teens with HIV/AIDS and criminal justice clients. Forming Opportunities Under New Direction (FOUND) Inc. is an outpatient and partial hospitalization center. They also offer day treatments. Addiction research and Treatment Inc is a special center offering programs for pregnant women and women suffering from postpartum. The East Los Angeles Health Task Force Comprehensive Substance Abuse Program offers great programs for DUI/DWI offenders and accepts all Military insurance. CA Hispanic Commission Alcohol and Drug Abuse Latinas Recovery Home is located in downtown and offers women’s only groups. The Alcoholism Center for Women Inc Outpatient Services has programs available for adolescents’ and women and offers many different kinds of treatment plans. CA Hispanic Commission Alcohol and Drug Abuse Latinos Recovery Home/Wabash is a unique substance abuse center in that it only offers struggling teen boys programs.
