What is the Behavioral Health Industry?
Behavioral Health - more specifically understood as the umbrella, or overreaching term describing therapy, therapeutic intervention, residential rehabilitation as defined by abnormal human behavior. Behavioral Health is a generic term used by human behavioralists, therapists, counselors, Life Coaches, and Clergy to describe the overall reaching description of human behavior, but mostly describing mental and societal health of individual people. Behavioral Health is also a term that describes the practice of behavioral medical intervention, an interdisciplinary field that studies the development and cohesiveness of behavioral and biomedical science, including the technique and modalities relevant to health and illness and the application to prevent, diagnose, provide adequate treatment, and rehabilitation. A philosophy of mental and behavioral integrated behaviors promoting a philosophy of “normal” mental health as defined by behavior.
